First I moved to Manhattan where excellent professors at SVA (School of Visual Arts) taught me to paint and draw very realistically.
Soon the process of painting realistically became too tight though, so as crazy as this might sound, I left Realism behind. (Matisse and Picasso, originally Realists, did the same.)
Next I became a commissioned artist in Manhattan and discovered new territory. Five years later I moved to San Francisco. I continue to find patrons who love my art and who get why I...
